And I’m a big believer that when you set a healthy foundation for your life, you can have it all.
My philosophy is simple: I believe what we consume is everything—from the foods we put in our body, to the ideas we feed for our minds, to the connections we have with others. Everything gives you energy, and what you take in determines how your life will be. My goal is to champion a healthy lifestyle that is simple, accessible, and gives your body what it needs to fuel your best life possible.
One thing you need to know about me? I am an entrepreneur with a million ideas and dreams, and the passion and tenacity to back them up.
It’s been a journey to get here and I’m ready for anything!
How It Started…
At just 14 years old, I watched a documentary that changed my life forever. In it, the documentarian showed the long-term effects of fast food on the body. I watched as he became lethargic, emotionally dejected and realized there was so much more to nutrition than fueling the body for sports performance. A seed was planted that day.
As I studied the science of nutrition in college, I started to think becoming a dietitian meant working one-on-one with clients in a hospital or doctor’s office.That really didn’t excite me. But, I kept attending conferences and doing everything I could to learn about the field of nutritional sciences, and eventually, I met dietitians who were using their expertise in unique ways. One woman was appearing on TV and writing magazine articles, educating people about the benefits of specific, nutrient-rich health products. That was the moment I realized I could make a bigger impact and have a lot of fun doing it, too.
How It’s Going…
Since then, I have worked in-house and as a consultant for billion-dollar nutraceutical companies helping them translate and develop their messaging for their products’ benefits based science. I’ve continued pursuing and connecting with hundreds of reputable, well-known brands, TV stations, magazines and more to promote and share their products across the U.S.
Becoming a mom kicked up a new idea when I realized many parents needed help figuring out what to put on the dinner table for their kids (and themselves!) every day. That was the inspiration behind my What’s For Dinner Club, which is a monthly membership that takes dinner meal planning off their plates. It means the world to me to hear from members who say their kids love the What’s For Dinner Club
Now, my bigger vision includes exciting opportunities like writing a cookbook, being on talk shows, hosting master classes, philanthropy, travel and making special memories with my family.
I’m energized, excited and ready for it!
